The WCC invites you to a pop-up event on Teaching Race & Ethnicity in Antiquity. Our panelists have all taught courses on this topic in the last few years. During this event, they will share their insights and also offer best practices for approaches, activities, and conversation starters, based on their experiences.

This event will provide some basic information and resources for anyone who is considering teaching about race and ethnicity in antiquity, whether as a section in an existing course or as a stand-alone course. The event will also provide opportunities for those currently teaching this course to brainstorm and share ideas for activities and assessments that they might be able to use immediately in the classroom.
